Job Title: Senior Care Assistant – Nights

Salary: £14.37 per hour plus incentives
Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time role working night shifts (7pm-7am, 3 shifts per week, including some weekends). The care home is set in a peaceful rural location and provides personal and dementia care for up to 41 residents.

Responsibilities:
Provide the highest standards of care, supporting residents in all aspects of daily living.
Promote residents' independence, dignity, and wellbeing with a person-centred approach.
Lead shifts to ensure the care team delivers consistent, high-quality care.
Administer and document medications accurately and oversee daily chart completion.
Mentor and support team members, promoting good practices and addressing areas of improvement.
Participate in handovers and ensure excellent communication across shifts.
Requirements:
Relevant professional qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care).
At least two years of experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home setting.
A strong understanding of person-centred care planning and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure with a caring and enthusiastic attitude.
