Senior Carer Salary: £21,879 per annum (Equivalent to £12.75 per hour) Location: West Bromwich, West Midlands Hours:2x 33 Hours – 1x Day 1x Night shifts available ***Sponsorship is NOT available***
HCR is recruiting for a Senior Carer to join a highly professional care home rated “Good” with CQC in all 5 domains. We require a Senior Carer who will assist the care team ensuring effective care is being delivered.
The ideal Senior Carer will have experience working with the elderly and must ideally have a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care or working towards this. This is a fantastic opportunity for the Senior Carer to collaborate with a well-established provider.
Senior Carer Duties:
* Administering and Safe handling of medication
* Keep care plans up to date for each resident.
* Ensuring care plans are filled out to a high standard by the team.
* To make sure the resident's well-being and person-centered care are to a high-quality standard.
* Keeping in line and up to date with the home policies and procedures
* Conducting supervision meetings once every 2 months

Senior Carer Requirements:
* To have an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or to be working towards it
* The Senior Care Assistant will be competent in medication handling and administering.
* Must be competent in electronic care planning
* Empathetic, sympathetic, and respectful towards all residents and staff members
