Job Title: Social Worker (Mental Health Multidisciplinary Team) – £40/hour

About the Role:
We are currently working alongside Belfast Health and Social Care Trust on a rewarding and challenging project to stabilise care packages for a looked-after child who has:

Experienced trauma due to abuse and neglect.
*
Complex emotional and mental health needs that require specialist support.
*
Endured multiple breakdowns in care arrangements, resulting in instability.
As part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT), you will play a key role in creating a robust, stabilised care package tailored to meet this young person’s emotional, educational, and social needs, helping them reintegrate successfully into their community.
Key Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with Belfast Health and Social Care and other professionals to design and deliver stabilised care packages.
*
Address the emotional and wellbeing needs of vulnerable children and families.
*
Contribute to assessments, planning, and monitoring to ensure care packages remain effective and sustainable.
*
Support the integration of services to ensure a cohesive care plan for long-term success.
*
Help improve community reintegration through support with education, social networks, and stability.

About You:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled social worker who has:

A professional qualification in Social Work and is registered with the appropriate regulatory body (e.g., NISCC, Social Work England).

Strong experience working with looked-after children and addressing complex trauma.
*
A track record of working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
*
A passion for improving outcomes for vulnerable individuals and stabilising care packages
