Children and Young Peoples Practice Team
As part of our Children and Young People’s Practice Team you will undertake a wide variety of work with children and young people from 0-26 years. Including pre-birth assessments, child protection and permanence planning. We undertake diversions from prosecution for young people and support continuing care and after care within children’s services.
Duty team
As part of the duty team you will respond to the needs of children and their families at the earliest opportunity. Working as part of an experienced and motivated team, you will work under Child Protection and Looked After and Accommodated structures and Council policies and procedures to undertake initial assessments, provide advice, support, and short-term interventions. Initial assessments will be undertaken working closely with our police, health, education and third sector colleagues, with a shared goal of promoting Children & Young People’s safety and wellbeing

Based on you working 36 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £41,802.34 per annum.
