We are an ASTI team – we are office based twice per week and are based at home for the other days other than duty weeks that happen every 5 weeks, we are based in the office during that week and the expectation would be to be available that week to include likely late visits.
Assessments and s47 assessments are allocated on duty week with the expectation that they are completed within the 5 week rota.
Assessments need to be child centred, evidence based and of a good quality. The pace in the team is fast and the candidate would need to be able to work quickly and effectively.
We work across East Birmingham.
We work closely with our families together, child in need, safeguarding and CIC teams to ensure that the children and families receive the right service at the right time. The work is both challenging and rewarded and you will be well supported
