Care Coordinator

The Recruitment Crowd are currently looking for an experienced Care Coordinator to work closely together with a small friendly office team and team of carers in Wandsworth.
The role includes:
* Coordinating carers’ and customers’ schedules.
* Responding to existing customers and carers.
* Handling new potential customer enquiries and matching these to carers’ availabilities.
* Recruitment and interviewing of new carers.
* Carrying out carer supervisions/appraisals and administrative tasks.
* Ensuring compliance/ policies and procedures.

In addition, we are seeking candidates with the following capabilities:
* Care coordinating experience.
* Excellent telephone manner.
* Good communication skills, both oral and written.
* Ability to engage quickly, effectively and in a friendly, professional manner with anyone.
* Computer literate – ability to use Access People Planner and Access Care Planning (respectively our rostering and electronic care management systems), as well as being confident using all Microsoft Office 365 software.
* Highly accurate, with excellent attention to detail.
* Well-organised, and a good time manager, able to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Real-time problem-solving skills, intelligent and comfortable with working under time pressure.
* Good office administration/filing; enthusiastic and happy to “muck-in” with all office tasks and activities.
* Live within the London Borough of Wandsworth, or close by.
The salary will be based on experience/capability, in the range £25,000-£27,000 per annum.
Office hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday, plus on call on a rotational basis with other members of the office team; for each week of on call undertaken there is an additional half a day holiday entitlement.
