East Renfrewshire Council’s Housing Services are looking to recruit a talented and committed individual to a Job Share position of Factoring Assistant. Working days will be Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday afternoons.
The successful candidate will co-ordinate and be the central point of contact for homeowners in delivering East Renfrewshire Council’s Factoring Service and to ensure that their enquiries are dealt with professionally and efficiently. The team works with 1200 private owners of former Council houses, managing factoring responsibilities related to both day-to-day repairs and major capital projects.
The successful candidate will have experience of factoring in a social housing context, be knowledgeable of relevant legislation, and best practice/ procedures and have a commitment to excellent customer service.
*Depending upon the needs of the service, staff in Hybrid roles will typically work from home for up to 40-60% of the time where the needs of the service can still be met.
