An exciting opportunity has arisen within North Ayrshire Drug and Alcohol Recovery service, for Recovery Development Worker. As a Recovery Development Worker you will draw upon your own personal lived experience, knowledge and skills to support vulnerable people within North Ayrshire. You will support the implementation and roll out of Scottish Government’s Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Standards, by being part of a multi disciplinary team, providing assertive outreach and recovery orientated interventions, that will assist reduce harm to people who suffer from drug and alcohol issues. You will promote person centred care, within a human rights based approach to recovery, on a one to one and group setting. You will have the opportunity to participate in North Ayrshire Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP) lived experience panels and to collate experiential feedback from clients, which will promote and enhance service improvement and delivery. Training and support will be provided, to enhance your own personal development and skill base.
