An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Senior housing with care worker within 4 Housing with care buildings.
The Housing with care Service provides support to vulnerable service users within their own homes, experience of working with vulnerable service users in a care setting is required. As a Senior housing with care worker, you will be required to carry out personal care tasks on a ‘one-to-one’ basis with people who have a wide range of caring needs in their own homes, workplace observations of your team ensuring a high-quality service is being provided, which meets the National Care Standards.
Previous experience of working in a care setting is essential for this position. We are looking for individuals with strong interpersonal skills, a caring personality and someone who is reliable and can be relied upon to support the service user in their home. We are looking for someone that will always work in the best interests of the service user.
You must be confident in using Microsoft office applications and have an eye for attention to detail.
Hours for this role are 37 per week on a 10 over 14 working pattern, involving working every second weekend. This post will include working an early and back shift pattern.
All posts involve lone working.
You must hold the relevant qualification or be willing to work towards the SVQ Award that is linked to the post of senior housing with care worker.
Successful applicants for posts working with children or vulnerable adults will be subject to the PVG scheme and requires SSSC Registration.
This post is temporary until October 2024 due to service requirements.
