Based at Kinloch Care Centre, Carnoustie.
This job is workstyle 1 – Fixed.
In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.
You will lead and create a stimulating environment through activity and development programs. This will be person centred and take into account the previous interests, hobbies and life story work for all service users.
You will be required to ensure a variety of leisure activities and social events are delivered, including promoting intergenerational work, community links and activities both in and out of the home.
You will be be non-judgemental and respectful in attitude and will have excellent communication skills and a warm and empathic approach to engaging with service users.
Experience of working with vulnerable adults is desirable as is being able to work in an outcome focused manner.
