Salary: £34,057 – £40,275 per year
Hours: 36 per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Water Quality Officer to join our Housing team. Predominately working in Housing Operations, you will be responsible to ensure that statutory and Health & Safety Executive regulations and standards are applied across the estate in all aspects of water quality management and legionella risk reduction, scald prevention, and the maintenance of water care asset registers.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable and motivated to help ensure full compliance across our housing property portfolio.

You must have good knowledge of current legislation including HSG274 and BS8580. Ideally, you should also hold an HND/HNC level qualification in Water Quality management or Domestic water services management or relevant professional qualification (WMSoc or equivalent). Additionally, we would like someone with considerable experience of water quality maintenance plus a water quality maintenance qualification minimum City & Guilds Risk Assessing Module.

Driving license is essential as the post does require driving to various properties within the City of Edinburgh.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
