Hays Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a North West based healthcare provider as they require motivated and reliable support workers to cover waking nights in a service based in St Helens. This service offers support to adults with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders.

Your new role
As a waking night support worker you will offer support to adults throughout the night from 10pm to 8am. You will work alongside colleagues to ensure that the needs of the service users are at the heart of operations. Your duties will include but are not limited to behaviour management, emotional support, assisting residents with nightly needs as required, and personal care.

What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this position you must have a minimum of 6 months referenceable experience working in a residential service setting in the last 2 years, as well as:

• A calm and compassionate nature
• A passion for helping others
• A full driving license and access to your own vehicle is advantageous but not essential
• NVQ L2 Health and Social Care is advantageous but not essential
