£17,775 – £18,845 which equates to £9.47 – £10.04 per hour

Perth & Kinross Council operate COVID – 19 vaccination centres in Perth, Pitlochry & Blairgowrie. The aim is to work in conjunction with various partners to provide the residents of the Perth & Kinross area with vaccines to COVID – 19.
As a Vaccination Centre Assistant you will provide an invaluable service to the residents of the Perth & Kinross area, ensuring that the centres are run smoothly, making sure all residents are made to feel welcome. Your role will require you to be friendly and approachable to the public, re-assuring and keeping them safe. The role involves greeting the public as they enter, making sure they follow all instructions at the centre and ensuring they leave the facility having had a pleasant experience. This role operates on a shift pattern and the contracted shift pattern for this post will involve weekend working. The role also entails working both inside and outside. This is an opportunity for you to provide a vital service to the community. You will have contact with members of the public and will act as a representative of the Council. You will have the opportunity to participate in on the job training and your continuous development will be encouraged and supported throughout your career with Perth & Kinross Council.
