This post would also be considered for a minimum of 4 working days (including weekends) per calendar month.
The Criminal Justice Service in Clackmannanshire is committed to delivering a range of custodial and community sentences for those convicted of offences by the Courts. Of the 9 requirements a Court can make when imposing a Community Payback Order, Unpaid Work is often the most commonly used by the Courts across Scotland and can be used as an alternative to custody. The post holder will therefore work as part of a busy team to help plan, organise and supervise those individuals sentenced by the Courts to carry out a wide variety of work tasks that are of benefit to the local community.
We encourage individuals to develop practical and social skills as part of their sentence and through this to develop personal responsibility for their actions, enhance their employability and to improve their relationship with communities.
