Birmingham City Council is the UK’s largest local authority serving over one million customers. Public health is an essential part of Birmingham City Council and this role will support the Covid-19 outbreak by working as part of their mass testing project team across various sites in Birmingham.
Your new role
Working in a large team, supported by an Operations Manager and Team leaders, you will manage the end to end testing process. This will include registration of patients, queue monitoring and control, providing testing kit to patients and directing them to a testing booth, ensuring tests are labelled accurately, sampled and updated on the device and results are entered.
What you’ll need to succeed
Strong customer service skills, team work and attention to detail is critical for this role. You must be able to commit to the shift patterns, the centres will be open Monday to Sunday, you will work four days on, four days off between the hours of 7.30am to 6.30pm.
