Job Description
Post Title: Tenant Participation Officer
Location: Inverness
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Fixed term – 12 Months
Salary: £24,861 – £27,937 p.a.
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.
This post is suitable for flexible working hours up to 35 hours per week

Job Purpose: Work as part of a team under the supervision of the Principal Tenant & Customer Engagement Officer, to work alongside tenants and other customers to encourage and support them to take part in decision making processes, influence decisions about their housing including policy formulation, tenancy conditions and the delivery of related services.
Promote tenant and customer engagement with staff, managers and Members and help deliver the Council’s Tenant and Customer Engagement Strategy, and Action Plan.
