Temporary Support Worker – Children
Your new company:
You will be working for Hays Social Care, a market leader in Social Care recruitment in the UK. We are currently recruiting within the Coventry and Warwickshire area for a qualified support worker who we can confidentially put forward to our various clients across the Social Care sector.
Your new role:
You will be responsible for the support and care of children with various challenging and complex emotional behaviours within residential homes in the Coventry and Warwickshire area. You will display from your previous experience within this type of role a enthusiasm and commitment to provide a safe and supporting environment for the children in your care. You will work closely with a strong team of hard-working individuals to build positive relationships with your service users.
As a Temporary Support Worker with Hays you are able to work flexibly by providing us with your availability allowing you to work around other commitments.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Ideally possess a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People
- Have a minimum of six months experience working in a children’s residential setting within the last two years
- Passionate about supporting the needs of young people
- Be confident in your ability to work with young people and think on your feet
- Build positive relationships with both children and staff
