Temporary Support Worker – Full Time and Part Time – Neath

Your new company
You will be working for Hays Social Care, a market leader in Social Care recruitment in the UK. Hays Social Care are working with a reputable care provider in Neath/Port Talbot area. They have a number of supported living in services and are looking for friendly and reliable Support Workers in the area to work flexible shifts, supporting adults with learning disabilities.

Your new role
You will be working with vulnerable adults who are mostly mobile, however, need extra assistance for some aspects of their daily routines. It is important independence is encouraged whilst still providing the care and support necessary. Shift patterns will vary.

Key Responsibilities include:
Offering round the clock support to adults with learning disabilities
Assisting with care needs and day to day tasks
Encouraging independence and opportunities to learn and grow

What you’ll need to succeed
At least six months experience working with adults with learning disabilities
Possess a passion for care
Have a strong knowledge of safeguarding rules and procedures
Be flexible for a variety of shift patterns
