Permanent Team manager position to manage a number of independent living YP and their teams
Your new company
Your new company is a is a Leaving Care provided based within the North West. They are a relatively new service however they have quickly established themselves to be leaders within the North West in delivery quality accommodation, support and care for young people.
Your new role
As part of your new role you will manage a number of young people and their teams throughout Lancashire (mainly East Lancs, Central Lancs and the Fylde Coast). Your young people all live independently so your office base will be a mixture of both Preston and Blackpool. You will be required to manage duties such as rota’s, sickness, training and development, staffing gaps amongst other things.
You will be contracted to 37.5 hours per week. As standard you would normally work a “9-5” but you will have to have a level of flexibility as you have to attend to your team’s and YP needs. You will also be rota onto a on call rota which is typically 5pm – 8am in which you would get paid for.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have experience of working within Social Care before, preferably within Leaving Care however this is not essential. You must have experience of managing a team and you must be confident in making decisions and rolling with them. You will have your Level 3 Health and Social care or equivalent as a minimum.
