Based at Back Sneddon Centre, 20 Back Sneddon Street, Paisley.

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to the post of Alcohol and Drug Recovery Team Lead Social worker for Renfrewshire HSCP. You will provide support to colleagues, directly manage staff and provide Leadership to staff managing complex cases. You will be involved in assisting implementation of MAT Standards and part of a wider duty Team for Adult Protection.

This is a significant role within Renfrewshire HSCP Adult Services and Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services. You will also be part of the wider NHSGGC Alcohol & Drug Services network.

Following a whole system review of our alcohol and drug services a workforce plan is being deployed to ensure we have the required skill mix to deliver the future model of a fully integrated, recovery focused service. The services have now integrated with alcohol and drug service embodying recovery focused treatment and care.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with effective analytical, communication and interpersonal skills who will have the ability to manage change in the delivery of organisational restructure. Experience of working in recovery focused services is Desirable. It is essential you are educated with a Degree/Diploma in Social Work (or Social Work equivalent) or degree in a relevant subject.

You must also have knowledge of person centred planning and a keyworker role and have personal skills to promote good practice.
