Team Leader (Infrastructure and Information)

£38,585 – £40,975 (including Distant Islands Allowance)

We are looking for an adaptable, experienced individual to take up the position of Team Leader (Infrastructure and Information) within the Education, Leisure and Housing Directorate. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient and effective operation of matters relating to infrastructure and information across the Directorate, and contribute to the management and coordination of strategy, policy, and planning.

You will be the operational lead for the Local Housing Strategy and the Strategic Housing Investment Plan and take responsibility for a range of strategic documents including the Asset Management, and Fuel Poverty Strategies. In addition, you will provide direct support to Service Managers on a number of data-driven, Directorate-wide performance management and planning functions, and will play a key role in preparing responses to complaints and requests for information. Applicants should be data literate; familiar with housing and homelessness legislation, effective in partnership and collaborative working; able to lead, inspire and manage colleagues; and be recognised as confident, clear communicators.

You should be educated to HND or other SCQF level 8 qualification in a subject relevant to the role.
