Midlothian’s Family Wellbeing is a new service aimed to provide flexible, holistic support to families in need. The service supports families with children aged 0-18 in an effort to avoid statutory intervention. Children’s Services in partnership with education and third sector are working to create bespoke plans that support families to overcome obstacles with housing, finances, education and wellbeing.
We are looking for a dynamic Team Leader to lead the service through further development in line with The Promise and the ten principles of whole family support. This will involve: management and training of staff; review and creation of service process and procedures, including performance and outcome reporting; and ongoing collaboration with partners in statutory children’s services, education, and third sector.
