Roles that require PVG Membership
Please note that with effect from 1 April 2023, where a role requires PVG membership, candidates will be required to meet the cost of the PVG membership. This applies only to roles with a full time equivalent salary of £30,000 and above. (Teaching roles and jobs at Grade 12 and above (currently £32,555 per annum / £16.92 per hour)
The Council will pay for the PVG membership cost initially, either £18 for existing PVG scheme members, or £59 for non-members, and this cost will be deducted from an employee’s first FULL month’s salary payment.
Job Purpose
This is a responsible for improving quality of life in households and across communities. The role involves managing a team that will deliver an assertive response to improve quality of life by tackling anti-social behaviour and environmental concerns with the aim of reducing the risk of harm and enhancing wellbeing across Aberdeen
communities.
The postholder will deliver an action-focused team, co-ordinating partner’s responses and leading successful interventions to resolve anti-social behaviour. With a strong focus on improving outcomes, they will have a highly visible role at a local
level, working closely with partner services and residents to deliver agreed outcomes.
Postholder needs to be Level 1 Police Vetted.
