Location: Hamilton Family Support Hub
An opportunity has arisen for a fixed term team leader post based within the new Hamilton Family Support Hub.
The successful candidate will oversee requests for assistance to social work and child concern referrals from police colleagues and have a leadership role in ensuring families get the right help, at the right time. The successful candidates will also be responsible for providing support and supervision to social work staff who are providing whole family support to families in need with the aim of diverting them away from looked after or child protection procedures where possible.
Applicants should have a good knowledge of The Independent Care Review findings, the recommendations in The Promise, the Scottish’s Government’s Whole Family Approach and child protection procedures. An ability to work in partnership and preventatively with other agencies, families and the community will also be essential.
