What is the role?
Exciting opportunity to join our Children and Family Disability Team as a team leader. The role will primarily manage and develop the resource service and transitions support. This is an exciting time to develop the role and how we best support families. The successful applicant will work alongside the current team leader and will support the statutory service as required. We are looking for someone educated to degree level and a social work degree is desirable, though applications will be accepted from those with health and education degrees.
Under the direction of a Manager to be responsible for leading a team of social workers and support
staff in ensuring that assessments and reviews are completed timeously in line with national and local
performance targets. Promote a positive performance culture across the Partnership.

The Grade of this post is Grade 4 / Level 12, the hourly rate is from £25.37 to £26.92 and the annual salary is from £46,300 to £49,129.
This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly between home and the office and the frequency for attending the office may vary depending on the exigencies of the service.
