You will manage, deliver and develop assessment and care management services in Lewis and Harris and foster close working relationships with partner organisations to improve personal and corporate outcomes. You will ensure that all requests for service are dealt with according to current departmental procedures and legal requirements as well as supporting team members in order to ensure that good practice and service standards are met. As Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in the shaping of services and influencing future service developments.
You will hold a Diploma in Social Work or equivalent and have an up to date knowledge and understanding of legislation and policy in relation to Assessment and Care Management Services. Proven ability to supervise staff within a team and ensure compliance with local and national policies and practices is essential. A post qualifying award would be desirable.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade with annual incremental progression.
