Recruiting Team Leaders for Adults Supported Living Services in Rugby Town Centre

Hays Social Care are currently recruiting two team leaders to work for a reputable local charity based in Rugby supporting individuals with learning disability and autism in supported living environments. They support individuals and their families to lead fulfilled and valued lifestyles by providing high quality care and promoting independence of service users.
Your new role
You will be supporting vulnerable adults with a variety of complex needs ranging from physical to emotional support. It is important independence is encouraged whilst still providing the care and support necessary. You will help individuals with day-to-day activities, along with emotional support to service users and families. You will work closely alongside the deputy manager to manage small staff teams, support in recruitment, liaise with families and external services.
What you’ll need to succeed
It is essential you have previous experience as a team leader or supervisor in a social care environment. Ideally you will have an NVQ Level 3 in health and social care. You will need to be committed to making a positive impact on vulnerable people’s lives and be able to manage individuals with complex emotional and behavioural needs. You will have had some experience managing small staff teams and strong administration skills. You must be comfortable providing a level of personal care if required.
