This organisation is an established charity that provides support to vulnerable children and young people. This is a 4 bed home that is located in Great Barr.

Your new role
In this role you will be leading and supporting a professional team of staff committed to transforming young lives and creating positive outcomes. The role will be supported by a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, and a team of residential support workers.
You will be working as a senior member of the team whilst also promoting the normal development of the children and young people.

This role is a temporary to permanent basis, going permanent after 12 weeks in post.

What you’ll need to succeed

• 1 years’ experience of working at a level of responsibility, with children and young people in residential childcare
• Ideally, professional qualification (CQSW, DipSW, NVQ3), or a least willingness to undertake Diploma Level 3 for Residential Childcare.
• Ability to work shifts including weekends and bank holidays and undertake sleep-ins.
• Experience of effectively leading a team
