Falkirk Council Social Work Adult Services are seeking to appoint a Performance and Information Administrator working in a hybrid way, dividing the time between working from home and in the office at our Carronbank House Business Unit in Denny. Work laptop and mobile will be provided.

As Systems and Performance Administrator you will provide support to the Senior Systems and Performance Co-ordinator assisting staff to ensure home care services are set up, monitored and managed using our management information system. 

Home Care services provide vital support at home to thousands of vulnerable people throughout the Falkirk Council area.

You will:

• provide day to day systems user support for Home care and other IT systems as required which will involve resolving queries by telephone or in person, tracking and assigning calls and escalating these as required.
• maintaining system admin records and documentation, including systems user records and profiles; maintaining code lists; testing new software version releases, developments and reports; and monitoring use of the system
• support systems users; developing and running management and performance reports; and ensure the security of all sensitive or confidential information held across the home care service and wider Social Work Adult Services

What you will need

Previous experience of supporting users and information systems and a sound knowledge of computerised information databases and reporting tools.

Experience of using PC based software packages, e.g. Microsoft Office, and you should have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel e.g. competent with pivot tables and V-lookup.

You will require a range of personal qualities including:

The post is part-time 30 hours per week. The ability to adapt to change and to be flexible in your approach to work is a prerequisite of this job.

Interviews are planned to take place on Wednesday 24th August 2022.  The interview will include an Excel test.
