What is the role?

To work as part of a team in the provision of family support services to vulnerable families and children in need.

Family Care Workers to work within the Children and Families Disability Team.  These posts will support the review of resource packages as well as direct family work.

The Grade of these posts are Grade 2 / Level 8; the hourly rate is from £17.38 to £18.93 and the annual salary is from £31,718 to £35,547.

These posts are considered to be Regulated Work with protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidates will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update if already a Scheme Member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly between home and the office and the frequency for attending the office may vary depending on the exigencies of the service.
