Family Assessment Worker – NVQ L2 Qualified

Hays Social Care are looking for NVQ LV2 qualified, Family Assessment Workers in the Coventry area to work on a temporary basis or on a long-term contract and willing to start immediately. Your new role
Your potential new role as a Family Assessment Worker requires you to be fair, kind and empathetic as you will be working with families on a day-to-day basis. You will be providing supervision for children whilst their parents attend sessions. Observing and recording the parents’ ability to monitor and care for their children in an important task in this role. Being supportive and creating an environment to learn and re-learn for the families and children is another important role. We are seeking Family Assessment Workers that are in the Coventry area, are flexible and willing to work 20-30 hours with an immediate start. This role requires you to be patient, calm and empathetic with good communications skills to help these families and children adapt to a safe and healthy way of living together.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role as a Family Assessment worker you must be a dependable individual with high quality standards and values. You should be able to provide adequate advice and direction according to their needs. You are required to work alongside your colleagues, professionals and the families. You will need to have at least six months experience in a social care environment. You must be NVQ LV2 qualified for this role. This organisation provides training and coaching free of charge. You are not required to have extensive experience or qualifications, but you must be committed, passionate and eager to work and learn.
