Full Time – Support Worker – SA19
Your new company
This a 90 acre estate offering 24 hour Residential Care 52 weeks of the year to adults with learning disabilities from the age of 18 years. The estate consists of four homes and a working farm.
The residents’ day will consist of attending workshops and helping to run the farm, this could consist of the feeding and mucking out of animals, maintaining fences and hedgerows and assisting the farmer during the lambing season. Residents also have the opportunity to assist the gardener in growing fruit and vegetables and maintaining the flower beds.

This position is 37.5 hours a week and will be split over a variety of shifts. These can include morning or evening shifts as well as long days and sleep ins.
What you’ll need to succeed
The organisation will provide full training and induction into the service, but you must have at least 6 months of previous experience in a similar setting.
You will need to have eligibility to work in the UK and be able to provide valid Right to Work documents.
The ability to drive is desirable, as the farm is quite remote.
You will need to be flexible for a variety of shifts throughout the week, covering your 37.5 hour contract.
