About the role:
You will be working with adults with a range of needs, including verbal and non-verbal learning disabilities, autism, mental illness, and complex behavioral issues which may include forensic histories.
With a true leadership dream-team in the form of your Registered Manager and Team Leader, you will be working in an environment that encourages creativity and flexibility when it comes to achieving positive outcomes, and will be supported at every opportunity to upskill and pursue development opportunities .
Experience in Positive Behavioral Support would be a great advantage but not essential as excellent training and development will be given. As Support Worker, your role will include:

Supporting service users with daily routines such as mealtimes, personal care, medication, housework, and employment
*
Supporting service users to access services and facilities in the community; attending appointments
*
Facilitating, motivating, and supporting service users to engage in leisure, recreation, educational, employment opportunities
*
Using person-centred approaches such as the PBS model to help reduce behaviors that challenge
Working Hours:
We have full-time and part-time opportunities available, across a 2-week rota that involves a mix of days, evenings and weekend working.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for people with experience in any aspect of healthcare/social care, who can demonstrate strong person-centered values and a desire to work in this area.
You should be a confident and resilient individual with a positive mindset
A qualification in health and social care is desirable, but not essential as you will be supported to achieve this within your probation period
A full UK driving license is essential, but your own vehicle is not necessary
