Based within Community Therapy Services (East and West), you will work full time, 37 hours per week.
You will have 60 relevant credit points towards first year of social work degree (one of HNC in social care or social sciences, K100, K101 or DD100).
Provide supervisory and support services and carry a caseload of appropriate cases. Work alongside and under the direction of a senior or professionally qualified worker to carry out specific tasks.
You will have experience of working with relevant user groups and have good oral and written communication skills.
You will have an understanding of issues affecting relevant service group, good planning and organisational skills and have a commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
You will be able to work flexibly between 8 am and 8 pm.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
