Support Worker – Day Centre Permanent

Monday to Friday – 37 hours per week – Day centre open between 8:30am and 4:30pm – Adults with profound needs

Your new company
I am recruiting for a learning disabilities charity on the Chester / Flint border area. They now have 4 full time openings for passionate support workers to join the team at their multi-million pound sight.

This Flintshire based day centre is run by a well-known social care provider across many parts of England. The centre was purpose built 3 years ago and meets the needs of around 50 service users with profound and multiple disabilities. The centre holds 5 activity spaces including a workshop space, kitchen, sensory room and other multi-use rooms/gardens.

Your new role
The role will involve the day-to-day care of service users following a structured day full of different activities to keep the service users entertained. The role is extremely rewarding with an great staff team in place who have a passion for the people they support.

What you’ll need to succeed
The service is looking for someone who has experience of working with disabilities, both learning and physical.

Also you must have the following:

• Right to Work in the UK and provide at least 2 references
• Experience working with adults or children with similar needs
