Support Worker – Belfast, County Antrim Temporary

Due to complex user needs & a significant increase in the volume of Service Users post Covid, Randstad are keen to recruit an experienced Support Worker to provide assistance to users within the services of Elder Care, Dementia or Adult Physical Disability.

Requirements

NISCC registered
Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Access NI check
Minimum 6-12 months previous Healthcare Assistant or Support Work experience essential
Immunisation records fully up to date
Previous experience within a day centre or residential healthcare setting highly desirable
Ability to build rapport
Strong interaction and engagement skills
Caring and compassionate approach
Ability to work in fast paced user centric environment

Responsibilities

Provide daily assistance to the management team within a Day Centre environment
Interact and develop caring & professional relationships with all Service Users
Engagement with users which may be non verbal
Full involvement in the planning & execution of Therapeutic activities
Mobility assistance
Assisting with meals, feeding and hydration
Toileting & Personal Care
