Newport, Gwent – Support Worker – Bank/Adhoc Shift Work
My new Client is looking for temporary support workers for shifts on an adhoc basis.
They are a large not for profit organisation that focus’s on care and support for adults with Autism in a supported living setting in Caerleon, Newport. They are an organisation that is dedicated and passionate about caring for and supporting individuals living with autism, and strive to ensure that those in their service are able to live their lives to the fullest. They are looking for support workers who share in this passion and are able to work to help support their company ethics and vision for growth and change for those living with autism.

Responsibilities for a Support Worker in this role are vast and will include supporting individuals at home, cooking and cleaning and supporting service users with other elements of personal care. The job will involves spending time with individuals out in the community, where it is appropriate, supporting them to be independent.
As well as this it will involve spending time with the residents on a personal level, chatting with them and getting to know them, supporting them with friendship.
To be successful in this role you will need to be flexible to work a variety of shifts and patterns across 7 days. Shifts will include mornings, evenings and long days, and you should be available to work across the week so to be available for the service as much as possible.
You will need to have full eligibility to work in the UK and have proof of identification and national insurance.
