Bank Shifts – Part Time Support Worker Job – Supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities

Your new company
A large not for profit organisation is seeking Support Workers in a residential setting for Adults with Learning Disabilities.

Your new role
You will support individuals with complex needs to maintain their tenancy and develop skills in all aspects of daily living including cooking, cleaning and shopping. You will also help people to engage in social, leisure and educational opportunities in the community. Our individuals also enjoy role play & fun games, as they are young at heart.

What you’ll need to succeed
Successful applicants will be:
* Enthusiastic and willing to support others to try new things
* Committed to empowering people to enhance their independence
* Flexible to work a range of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, long days and weekends

You will need to have at least 6 months experience working in a similar setting within the Social Care setting. A driver is desirable, but not essential, as long as you are able to and committed to attending early morning shift start times.
You will need to have Valid Right to Work Documents and will have to have a full DBS check before you are cleared for work. This will be processed through Hays if you do not already have a check on the Update Service.
