Our client provides care to adults who have communication difficulties, severe and complex learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Their aim is to make a safe, uplifting and inclusive environment to every service user by creating positive experiences every day. By working closely with the service users, they strive to provide a happy, stable and safe environment for them, to develop and learn from every life experience.
Your new role
In this residential setting, you will be supporting adults. As a support worker you will be helping with the running of the home, supporting and developing the service users living skills. You will also need to have a passion to make a difference in the service user lives, have a calm and patient manner along with an understanding of Learning disabilities. You will also assist with meal times, feeding, dressing and every day needs. The service users will require you to support, protect and motivate.

Flexible working options available.This is a challenging job however, highly rewarding. This is a temporary position offering a variety of shifts, including days, waking nights and weekend work. The hours available can suit someone looking for flexible hours to suit their own personal situation.
Working through Hays Social Care you will be provided with an Enhanced DBS, free of charge and will have access to free training including Safeguarding for Children and Adults, Health and Safety, First Aid, Manual Handling and Food Hygiene.
