Your new role
Your new role as a Support Worker, In this rewarding role you will be supporting service users in their day to day life. There will also be exciting opportunities to engage in activity sessions with the service users as well as short breaks.
We have night and day shifts for Support Workers who will be providing personal care and medication to service users. You will also be supporting them in any other ad-hoc activities they may need assistance with and be able to build rapport
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for shifts, you MUST have at least 6 months experience in a similar environment.
You will also ideally will be:
Learning Disability Awareness Medication Trained (Desirable)
Restraint Trained (Desirable)
Epilepsy Trained (Desirable)
Adept in the use of MARSH sheets and incident recording
Comfortable providing personal care Safeguarding trained Mental Health and Autism awareness trained
You will also require the right to work in the UK such as British/EU passport or residence card with rights to work. Alongside this you will require a National Insurance ID. It will also be a benefit if you are on the DBS update service.
