Mental Health Support Worker – South Wales Area – Experience Required

Your new role
In this new role you will deliver care to those with severe mental health issues, providing compassion and support to all service users. You will respond flexibly to the assessed needs of referred individuals and follow the tailored packages of care promoting the individuals well-being, rights and independence.
In this role you will be required to take on a number of duties and responsibilities. These can include:
-All Aspects of Personal Care.
-Mobility and transfers.
-Administration of prescribed oral medication.
-Completion of detailed reports and observations to be shared with health professionals.
-Follow carefully executed care plans as well as maintaining all records for the individual.
-Ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you must be a caring and compassionate individual with experience in the care sector. You must be flexible to varying shifts and working hours, as well as having flexibility to work with a number of differing mental health problems.
