Support Worker – Swansea – Bank Shifts

My client is looking for experienced Support Workers to join their team to help support their service in the Swansea area. They are a not for profit organisation that supports adults living with learning disabilities and complex health needs.
My client is looking for Support Workers who are flexible for a number of shifts both days and waking nights, to help their service run smoothly, especially in the current climate.
Your new role
In this job you will be required to undertake a number of roles and responsibilities that will help to support service users on a day to day basis, encouraging them to be independent and live fully.
Cleaning and cooking duties must be undertaken, as well as elements of personal care. You will take individuals out into the community and support them with shopping and go with them for coffees and meals out, where possible.
You will support individuals in friendship, offering advice and caring words to help them make decisions and live life as fully as possible.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this job you will need at least 6 months experience working in a similar setting within a social care setting.
You will need to be flexible to a number of shift patterns, including mornings, evenings and night shifts.
