Swansea and Bridgend – Support Worker – ADHOC and Bank Shifts

My Client is a large not for profit organisation that specialises in providing support for individuals living with learning disabilities and complex health needs.
They are currently in need of hard working and flexible support workers who are able to join their teams in Bridgend and Swansea to help relieve the pressure that Covid-19 has bought.
They are an organisation that is dedicated to its service users and work everyday to ensure that individuals are supported and able to live with as much independence as possible.
The strain that Covid-19 has put on the care sector affects all within, and my client needs support workers to join their teams and ensure that those within their services are protected and supported at all times.
Your new role
In this role you will take on responsibilities that will ensure that service users are supported in every aspect of their lives.
You will need to help with cooking and cleaning, with elements of personal care, with advise and friendship, support in the community and support through the night.
You will be needed to be flexible for a number of shift patterns, including some waking nights.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to have at least 6 months experience in a similar setting. Due to the nature of the role you will need to be able to hit the ground running, so this experience is essential.
You will need to be flexible to a number of shift patterns and be available throughout the week.
