30 hrs per week, salary pro rata + 17.5% shift allowance
We are keen to employ a diverse workforce that reflects the people of Scotland. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and particularly from groups currently under-represented, including people with disabilities, those from minority ethnic communities or from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds
Are you considering a career change or already working in the care sector? Our crisis care team in West Lothian are currently recruiting care staff, with or without care experience.
As part of our team, you will have a guaranteed hours contract, be paid a shift allowance in addition to your basic salary, and at work have the use of a phone and a vehicle, and so you will need to be in possession of a full driving licence. You will take part in our extensive training programmes and be supported to achieve an SVQ II in health and social care.
The Crisis Care team is a 24-hour service working across West Lothian – the team helps anyone who has fallen, who has pressed their pendant for assistance
You will need to enjoy working with people, have empathy, and like a working environment which is fast paced with no two days the same. You will also need to want to be part of a team who are committed to providing good quality care in people’s homes, and be willing to work a waking overnight shift as part of the rota.
