Our Support at Home team in West Lothian is currently recruiting care staff and crisis care staff via our casual staff bank. Working as part of our casual staff bank provides a flexible approach to work with various hours available.
The Support at Home service works across West Lothian and supports people who are discharged from hospital that require to be assessed for care within their own home and community. This support includes tasks such as personal care, medication, mobility practice and meal preparation.
The working environment within Support at Home is fast paced and no two days are the same. Our teams are dedicated and committed to providing good quality care to people within their own homes.
You should note that hours will not be guaranteed and successful applicants will be placed onto a casual bank and will be contacted to cover shifts as and when required.
We welcome applications from candidates with or without experience as full training and support will be provided. You will be provided with uniform and PPE where required.

This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from commencement in this post to register with the SSSC. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
