There are currently vacancies for Relief Housing Support Workers within our specialist housing support service for young people with care experience. Ideally experience and knowledge of Residential Care is adventageous. Our services in Stirling are committed to providing a safe setting for our young adults to grow and develop their independant skills until assessed as ready to move into their own tenencies. The relief Housing support workers will supplement our existing team by covering shifts at short notice or planned in advance.You will be committed to maintaining a positive and safe environment for young people and to work collaboratively with colleagues and other agencies.
Applicants should be willing to work across the shift patterns which include day shift and night shift.
You should hold an SVQ 3 Social Services at SCQF level 7 plus HNC Social Services (or an award of certificated knowledge with 96 credits at or above SCQF level 7) or other relevant qualification to enable registration with the SSSC as a Housing Support Worker. Full UK driving licence required.
Applicants must be registered with the SSSC at appointment. In return, you will be provided with regular supervision and training opportunities to enhance your existing skills.
