What is the role?

Under the direction of the Team Leader (Hostels and Supported Accommodation), provide a housing support service to residents within Viewfield Gate, Secession House, Elba Gardens and other homeless temporary accommodation.

Extra information:

The Grade of this post is Grade 2 / Level 5 and the hourly rate is from £12.76 plus a 10% non-core allowance. Please note SSSC Registration is a requirement for this post.

• Viewfield Gate operates day shift and night shift pattern – shifts are 12 hours with 1.5 hours unpaid break.
• Elba Gardens & Secession House operate day shift and back shift pattern – 9 hours shifts with 1 hour unpaid break.

Please note that successful applicants will be placed on a bank list and contacted to work dependent on service requirements.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidates will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
