An exciting opportunity exists for a Social Worker to join a new Integrated Care Home Assurance Team. Working in partnership with health, the aim of the team is to provide assurance on key outcomes for older people in care. The postholders will work alongside a team of experienced Care Home Managers in all sectors to share learning, build on an environment of continuous improvement and to work in partnership with care homes in identifying and co-ordinating new training opportunities across the sector.
Co-ordinating and analysing the outcome of individual resident reviews will provide a key insight into improvement trends over time and inform the assurance process.
The postholders will receive professional supervision from a Team Manager in the Social Work Practice Team.
This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from commencement in this post to register with the SSSC. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
