What is the role?
You will be part of a small team working to support families within the Belmont Cluster. The team will build resilience and ensure that children and young people stay with those who have a close bond and can provide nurture and attunement to their needs.
You will provide assessment planning and monitoring of whole family plans to ensure that the holistic needs of families to build cohesion and confidence. At the heart of these plans will be a relationship based approach that identifies what the service can do to initiate the greatest change or impact.
This will include working in partnership with key agencies to ensure that our families receive support as early as possible to make the task of parenting easier and prevent family breakdown.
You will work with a range of partners within the Belmont Cluster to build family capital and contribute to the Strategic Outcomes of South Ayrshires Children’s Services Plan.

The Grade of these posts are Grade 3 / Level 10, the hourly rate is from £20.30 to £21.57 and the annual salary is from £37,047 to £39,365. This post is temporary for 23 months.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
