Our Children with Disabilities Service is looking to recruit an Additional Support Needs School Social Worker. This role will be to work for our children with severe and complex needs who attend Carrongrange School; Time Zone (Maddiston Primary School); Thistle Wing (Kinnaird Primary School); and Ladeside Education Services.

The team
The Children with Disabilities Team provides a comprehensive social work service to children with severe and complex disabilities and health conditions aged between 0-18years and their families.
The role
You will be a passionate and driven Social Worker who is looking to expand or develop further your experience in practice with children and families with disabilities.
You will be innovative and creative in your approach to delivering services to children and families and be able to work closely with the team, team manager, transitions coordinator, service manager and multi-agency partners to provide a service that meets each child’s specific needs.
Focus on transitional planning for our children and young people. You will be an aspirational and committed champion for our young people supporting them through transitions. Someone who can engage with all stakeholders in order to develop joined up and effective person centred plans that lead to positive outcomes for our children and young people.
